Director - Laura McLinn Laura taught middle and high school mathematics in Lawrence Township for ten years before opening Indy Learning Center in 2005. Along with her staff of about ten employees, she provides math tutoring, SAT prep, ISTEP prep and Spanish lessons for students of all ages and levels and child care for children ages six weeks through kindergarten. She is a 1991 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She completed her undergraduate teaching studies at University of Indianapolis. Then, in 2005 she received her Master's Degree in elementary education at Indiana University. She is also a mother of four children - two daughters, one step-daughter and one son.
Claudia Moncada - Spanish Teacher & Baby Caregiver Spanish Teacher - Claudia Moncada Claudia is a native speaker of Spanish from Honduras. She has lived in Indiana since March 2008. She works with the children at all three facilities and also teaches Spanish classes on Saturday mornings at the Learning Center. She likes to draw and uses a lot of illustrations as part of her teaching style. She is also a mother of two sons. Brittany - Morning Teacher for Infants & Toddlers Teacher/Caregiver for Infants & Toddlers - Brittany Perez Brittany usually works mornings with the infants and toddlers.  She is a mother of one baby boy who comes to work with her.
Eveliss - Caregiver, Housekeeper, Spanish Teacher Caregiver, Housekeeper & Spanish Teacher - Eveliss Eveliss helps out wherever she is needed. She is originally from Puerto Rico and she speaks Spanish with the children. She provides care for the infants, toddlers and preschoolers and helps with household responsibilities too. Eveliss also has two sons of her own. Kim Yentes Preschool Teacher and Caregiver for Infants & Toddlers - Kim Yentes   Kim works for a couple of hours every morning with the preschoolers teaching them Bible songs and stories and working on other preschool skills. She spends the rest of her day with the infants and toddlers. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and behavioral science. She is a mother of two sons and has worked in various preschool settings including programs at her church.    "Grandma" Linda Godwin "Grandma" - Linda Godwin Laura's mom helps out with a little bit of everything including cooking, cleaning, teaching and hugging. The kids all know her as, "grandma". Danielle Winkler - Math Tutor Math Tutor and Childcare Assistant - Danielle Winkler Danielle is a student at the University of Indianapolis. She has worked with Indy Learning Center since 2007, starting out as a math tutor. While that is primarily what she does, she also enjoys helping out at the daycare and preschool when needed.
